Novel Excursions

Our frequent off-site excursions at The Broadway offer a combination of new and exhilarating or familiar and relaxing options for everyone. Whether it’s trying a new restaurant in the area or taking a day trip to the aquarium, all residents and their family members are all encouraged to join in the fun.

From fun restaurant outings at their favorite local eateries, such as Copelands in Houma or Café Du Monde for coffee and beignets, to fine-dining experiences, our residents love to indulge in off-site dining options.

Other excursions include shopping trips to supermarkets, local farmers’ markets, and thrift stores, which help promote a sense of independence and empowerment. We also encourage new cultural experiences for residents, so local art festivals and live music concerts are included when available.

Plenty of other fun indoor and outdoor activities, such as bowling, casino trips, fishing, golf, and more, are frequently enjoyed by our residents.
